Rainforest Cafe

We have family from Dana Point visiting.  Aunt Ursula, Uncle Bruce, Zofia, & Milla

arrived late Tuesday night.  Brayden has been enjoying the opportunity to play and hang out with his cousin Zofia who is 3 years old.  Tonight we thought we'd take them to the Rainforest Cafe for dinner.  We figured the kids would all have a great time.  But as you know, things don't always go as planned.  Zofia started getting scared before we even made it up to the second floor to be seated.  She said she didn't want to go into the jungle.  She ended up crying through most of dinner and sitting with her hands over her ears because she was so scared of the animals and noises.  Brayden absolutely loves it there.  So when it came time to sit, he threw quite the tantrum- screaming, stiffening his body, banging his head, growling etc. He wanted to keep walking around and looking at everything instead of sitting down at the table.  This behavior continued throughout most of the meal as well.  We even sent Shaun to the gift shop in hopes that a little toy for each of them would bring about a change in behavior.  Little Milla, age 3 months, was on her best behavior though.  Luckily our table was in the corner of the restaurant so we didn't bother too many of the other diners.
