Brayden Turns 4

Brayden celebrated his 4th birthday this weekend! Being the big Scooby Doo fan that he is, he requested a werewolf cake. Obviously there were no werewolf cake pans to be found. So with a little imagination, Shaun used a Sponge Bob pan and carved it down into a werewolf. It came out great and Brayden was thrilled with the end result. As you can see, Pierce thought the cake was awesome too!

Bay Area Discovery Museum

Beautiful, warm sunny day. We spent the morning outside at the Bay Area Discovery Museum which sits at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge. Most of the activities at the museum are outside.

Up To No Good (Again)

Left the room momentarily and came back to find Pierce

having a good old time. Yes......he's inside the fireplace. (sigh)

Train Town

Brayden had been asking to go on a train ride all week, so we bundled them up and drove out near Napa to Train Town. It was very chilly that day, but the boys still had fun.

Once we arrived, our first stop was the airplane ride.

Brayden chose a yellow airplane of course and

wanted to carry his own ticket.

Next, we rode the train. All aboard!

The train pulls into a little "town" where the

kids get to play in several wild west buildings.

Time for school.

Pumping water out of the well.

Then it was off to ride some more rides.

Front seat on the dragon roller coaster!

And lastly, the carousel.

Sleepy Head

Upside down. Feet on the pillows instead of his head.

No covers. You never know what you're going to find

when you peek in on Pierce sleeping.

Monterey Bay Aquarium

We spent last Thursday down in Monterey at the aquarium.

Brayden loves maps. He never put it down!

Was determined to find the octopus.
