On our way down to Dana Point this time we stopped over at the Madonna Inn in San Louis Obispo. The hotel is unique in that each room has its very own theme. Our room was called "Cabin Still" and was based on an old fashioned moonshine distillery. The whole room (with the exception of a half of one wall) was rock, including the floor. Lanterns hung from the ceiling for our lights and there was fake fire burning under the copper distillery. It felt like you were sleeping in a cave or something out of Bedrock with the Flintstones. Very cool!!
