Today we drove 30 miles north and visited Point Reyes National Seashore and its lighthouse. We didn't realize that the area is completely covered in fog from April to October. At times we were literally on top of the ocean but couldn't see it at all. The point at the lighthouse is also the windiest spot on the entire Pacific coast. After trekking back 1/2 mile to get to the lighthouse we discovered that it sat on the bottom of the cliff and required you to descend over 300 steps. The sign warned that the climb back up was equal to walking up a 30 story building. Needless to say, Shaun & Brayden made the descent without me. By the way, you'll notice that Brayden is on a sunglass kick now and the little yellow container hanging around his neck is a "treasure holder" that he got in his Subway kid's meal earlier on in the day. He was filling it with pebbles and flowers along our walk.

I wondered if you had climbed that entire thing! You look so good. And I can't believe how big Brayden is now. Well both our boys! Although I wish I didn't have to wait another 6 months to start trying for the second one!
I'm glad you linked up.
Hi, Visiting from Momalicious's site!
Gorgeous trip. WE need to do one of those visits to. It's not too far from where we live and well worth the drive. I just need ample inspiration. :)
