Ever since we moved here we've wanted to take the trolley car tour of the city. The tour actually drives right by our house. So last night, we finally got the opportunity. Shaun's office reserved two "cable car" trolleys for a family night. First we ate dinner and all the kids got to decorate pumpkins and then it was off for a 2 hour tour of the city. The areas we toured were the Presidio, Golden Gate Bridge, Pacific Heights (our neighborhood,) Nob Hill, Union Square, Chinatown, Little Italy, and the Wharf. The driver pointed out lots of interesting facts and trivia along the way. Although we're not too sure how accurate he was on some of his facts. (He pointed out where Sharon Stone graduated high school....which if you're from western Pennsylvania you know that wasn't true since she is from Meadville, Pa!!) We drove by a house in Pacific Heights that is for sale (about 6 blocks from our place) and the asking price is a mere 43 million!!! It was a fun night for everybody. Brayden managed to stay awake for the first hour and then dozed off. The wind in his face lulled him right to sleep. The post below shows some of the pictures we took. We couldn't take too many of the city because it got dark out almost right after we started.
