Brayden's Fun Day

Today was quite busy for us.  We headed out to Napa for their 5th annual Halloween parade and trick-or-treating event.  We were running late and actually missed the parade part of it which worked out in our favor due to the record setting heat wave.  It was 96 degrees there today!  And poor Brayden was dressed up in his head to toe monkey costume.  Growing up back east, Shaun and I were use to wearing coats over our costumes so being too hot never even crossed our minds.  Needless to say Brayden lasted all of ten minutes in his costume while trick-or-treating down Main Street.  After taking off his costume he entertained himself by throwing coins in the fountain.  Then it was off for a backyard BBQ with our friends Mike & Miranda and their kids Nico & Sophia.  And boy did Brayden have fun at their house.....they have a big trampoline in their backyard!  He actually ran around and played with Nico (6 yrs old) & Sophia (3 yrs old) for over two hours.  It was really fun to see him interacting that way and it also allowed us to sit down and have some adult conversation while somebody else entertained Brayden.  It was a fun filled day for all of us!

Brayden's cheeks are flushed from the heat wave!! It's going to be cold and rainy in Pittsburgh for Halloween...as you remember it. Love, Mom
