Pumpkin Patch

We were looking for something to do today and ended up going to Farmer John's Pumpkin Patch in Half Moon Bay.  It was Brayden's first time to the pumpkin patch!  He wasn't quite sure what to make of it in the beginning.  One things for certain, he didn't like touching the hay!  When you get there, you pick out a wagon or a wheel barrow to take back into the patch with you.  So we picked out our wagon and off we went.  At first he rode in it but soon realized it was also fun to pull the wagon.  After watching us pick up a pumpkin and place it in the wagon, he was off on his own.  He took off at a run with the wagon and finally stopped by these smaller pumpkins and actually picked up about 6 of them and dropped them into the wagon.  Other highlights were the big tractor, hay pyramid, and teepee.  When you're all done, you pull your wagon out front and Farmer John comes over, looks at what you've got and names a price.  We ended up leaving with one little pumpkin, one big pumpkin, and a small bale of hay.

the pictures are beautiful!! I love the one of Brayden pulling the wagon. Too cute! I love taking the kids to the pumpkin patch. We always head out to the Bates Nut Farm! Brayden looks like he is walking so well. Thanks for sharing! :)
