Solano County Fair

Today we went to the Solano County Fair.  It was lots of fun for all of us.  Once we got there we headed straight to the livestock.  Brayden had a great time walking through the barns and seeing the cows, pigs, and sheep.  He had a particularly fun time in the petting zoo.  He doesn't seem to have any fear of animals.  He was reaching out to touch everything!  We didn't go on any of the rides, but did play a couple of the games.  Brayden played the duck pond game and won a stuffed turtle.  Towards the end of the day we watched the pig races.  It was free betting on the races, so we all

picked a different color pig and cheered them on.  Brayden's green pig won one of the races and so Brayden was given a blue ribbon to take home.  We ended the day with some yummy ice cream cones!
