Brayden had his 12 month doctor's appointment a few days ago.  He weighed in at 26.6 pounds and measured 31 inches.  It was the first visit where he stood on the scale and up against the wall to get measured.  According to the charts he's in the
90th percentile.  His head measurement is still over the 100th percentile but the doctor joked that it just meant he had a big brain.  The visit didn't end on such a great note though.  He had to get two shots.  He was suppose to get a third one as well but apparently there is a national shortage on the vaccine and Brayden had to be put on a waiting list.  (Kind of scary.)  Then we had to take him to the lab for them to draw blood.  The doctor wants to check for anemia and lead exposure.  That was not fun.  It took them two tries of sticking him before they were able to find a vein.  He was not a happy camper!
